Urban Decay Naked On The Run Palatte

One of the latest additions to the Urban Decay Naked family is the new "travel" palatte called Naked On the Run! It is the same price as the naked palattes costing £37, which I think is a reasonable price. As soon as I seen the first pictures of this palatte released I knew I needed it! It comes with gorgeous neutral shades in various products.
It has five different neutral eyeshadows which are a mix or shimmer and matte shades. These come in the following shades;
- Dive, which is a beautiful shimmery rose gold shade with a hint of gold sparkle
- Fix, a light/medium tan brown shade
- Resist, this is warm shimmery taupe colour
- Dare, which is a medium/dark warm brown shade
- Stun, a gorgeous deep sparkly chocolate shade with a hint of gold and brown shimmer

It also comes come with a duluxe size of the 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in the shade "stag" which is a new shade to the collection.  It is a deep brown shade with a deep plum undertone and the slightest shimmer.

It also comes with a bronzer and blush which are completely new shades to Urban Decay. The bronzer is a beautiful finely milled soft bronze shade perfect for all over bronzing or contouring. The blush a gorgeous pink shade with a slight shimmer to it, it's a shade that would look gorgeous with almost any skin tone! The palatte also include the "50/50" powder which is an all over powder, or it can also be used as a subtle highlighter.

The set also comes with a full size Naked gloss in the brand new shade "sesso". This lip gloss is a beautiful natural colour, it's a plum pink nude shade with a lovely sheen too it, which would go amazing with any choice of makeup!

Finally the palatte comes with a duluxe size of the very popular Perversion mascara!

My first impressions of this palatte was wow, it looks to good to touch, it just looks so pretty sat on my dressing table. I was so impressed with the quality of this palatte, the eyeshadows are so creamy and extremely pigmented, the mascara is amazing and holds my curl well!. The bronzer and blush are just such stunning subtle shades that would work well on all skin tones, along with the lip gloss, amd the Eyeliner is extremely pigmented, smooth and long wearing!
I absoloutley adore this palatte, it was worth every penny!
Although I would say it is a bit too heavy and bulky for every day travel in your bag, but it would be an amazing and handy palatte to take on a few days away!

Illamasqua haul!

I have just put together a quick little review on a few different illamasqua lipsticks and blushes i purchased, and my god, I am in love!

Powder blush in "sophie" this blush has a lovely heart touch story behind it, it is a gorgeous bright coral shade with a gold shimmer to it.

Powder blush in "lover" this blush has a matt finish, the shade of this one is an apricot/peach shade. This blush would be perfect on any skin tone!

All the illamasqua powder blushes are extremely pigmented, although they do crumble quite easily so you have to swirl your brush onto the powder nice and softly. I'm more of a drugstore girl but after trying these I'm in love, definitely worth the money!

Lipstick in "eurydice", this is an amazing bright fuchsia pink shade with a matt finish.

Glamore lipstick in "rosepout", this is a stunning neutral pinky shade with brown undertones, this lipstick has a satin finish.

Glamore lipstick in "buff", out of the 4 I own this is my least favourite, looked a lot nicer in the shop but I'm sure it'll come in handy :) this lipstick is a fudgey brown shade with a satin finish, although it does look a little pink on my picture from the light. I would say this lipstick really depends on your skin tone as it's one of those colours that can
make you look "dead".

Glamore lipstick in "cherub", this lipstick is a really natural and warm coral shade with a satin finish. This is my favourite natural lipstick ever, lovely a creamy!

All the illamasqua lipstick have an amazing lasting power and pigmentation! They apply so easily, the Glamore lipsticks are slightly more creamy that the original collection but they all have a lovely application. Definitely recommend these if your looking to invest in a really good high end lipstick, 100% worth the money! Smiling face with smiling eyes

Makeup Revolution Palettes.

Makeup Revolution flawless and what are you waiting for palette..

The first palatte I have here is the flawless palette. This palate includes a selection of 32 different shadows with the colours going from more nudey shades, to dark dramatic shades. It also includes a range or textures including mattes, some subtle shimmers, some quite glittery shades and some more creamy metallic shades. The pigmentation on these shadows are crazy, they are so pigmented! You can create deeper shades by applying them wet. They are also easy to blend together and all the colours go perfectly together. These shadows last pretty much all day on the lid. Although I like to just give them a quick go over with a fluffy eye brush to buff out the colour as I have quite small eyelids so it starts to gather near my crease after a few hours, though this does happen with near enough any eye shadow I use!

The what are you waiting for palatte has a selection of 18 shades, this palette concentrates more on nude shades with a few darker shades rather than a wider range of colours and textures. Just like the flawless palatte this one has great pigmentation and lasting power Smiling face with smiling eyes

flawless palatte- £8
What are you waiting for palatte- £6

The blush palatte is in "sugar and spice"

For me this palatte is amazing for colour choice! It includes shades starting for quite light peachy pink shades up to bright rosy pink shades, it even has a baked pink blush/highlighter and a baked white highlighter! When applying this you need to make sure you have a tinyyy bit on your brush and build up the colour on your cheeks lightly as the pigmentation is insane, a little definitely does go a long way! The lasting power on these are brilliant, last all day, although I would say they do start to fade a teny bit toward the end of the day but nothing major!

Sugar and spice palatte- £6

Overall I would certainly recommend these palattes as they are just amazing, and the price!? To good to not have them!  This is slowly but surely becoming my favourite drugstore brand!! Smiling face with heart-shaped eyesOk hand signSparkling heart

memebox special #18 smile care review!

Memebox special #18 smile care :)
In this memebox I received 5 full sized items..

1. Perioe 46cm mouth spray, this came in 6.5 ml which is the full size product and retails for $4. This is a handy little mouth spray that can be carried around in your bag, you spray 1-2 sprays into your mouth to get rid of any bad breath and freshen you up. The taste isn't to bad, as im not a fan of minty things it doesn't really appeal to me but its handy so ill probably keep it in my bag for any emergencies!

2. MDaida butter cream lip mask and this came in 20ml which is the full size product retailing for $15.
This is simply just a hydrating mask for your lips, you apply a thick even layer to your dry lips and leave for 2-3 minutes before wiping off with a tissue. It feels nice and smooth on the lips and doesn't leave any nasty tastes, it left my lips feeling nice and smooth and hydrated :)

3. yufit Luminee-S 7 day teeth whitening program, this came with 7 foil packets each containing a strip for your top teeth and a strip for your bottom teeth and this 7 day program retails for $24.
After you have brushed your teeth you peel off the strips from the film and place them onto your teeth, you then leave these on for over an hour. When its ready to be removed you take them off your teeth and rinse your mouth with water. I haven't tried these yet, but i cant imagine its guna be much fun having a sheet across your teeth for over an hour! ill keep you updated on instagram (@beautygardenxx) when i try them out :)

4. MDaida Vita sugar lip scrub, this come in 20ml and retails for $15. This came in the black box along with the lip butter cream mask, it actually says you should use this before the mask so im a bit confused as to why it didn't get explained on the card first but never mind! with the scrub you apply it to wet lip and massage it into your lips with your fingers, once you have done this you rinse it off and ideally follow with the lip mask. This is great for removing and dry and dead skin on your lips to make them feel smoother and rejuvenated. One thing I really didnt like about this is that it is extremely greasy!! it even leaked through and stained the lid and the box it was in! eurghhh! Its recommended to be used 2-3 times a week.

5. L'OCEAN shea butter lip balm. This is a full size product and retails for $9. These lip butters come in various scents and I received grapefruit, although it actually smells a bit lemony. It simply just a nice soft smooth lip balm to hydrate and nourish chapped dry lips :)

Over all this box comes to a total of $67 which is way more than the $18 i payed for it. I'm pleased with the products i received and will be trying them all out, although i was really hoping for some kind of limp plumping product as they mentioned in the description but never mind :)

July's Love me beauty!

Julys Love Me Beauty box!

This is my first ever love me beauty box and I am very pleased with it! When you go onto the love me beauty website you can pick your box from a selection of three different ones, most the items will be the same but a couple will vary, I opted for box number 3.

In my box I received...

OFRA  eyeliner in "black" and this retails for £7.60.
This was one of the items that varied depending on which box you choose. The eye-liner is smooth and creamy which makes it easy to apply and has quite a good lasting formula.

OFRA pressed eye shadow in "Gold Rush" and retails for £8.80.
This item is included in all boxes but the colour does vary. This is a lovely little compact eye shadow which is very pigmented and sits on the eyelid very well. It comes in a little black case which has two compartments the top part is the eye shadow and if you lift that up there is a little mirror underneath which is quite handy.

Lashem lash enhancing serum. I received this in a sample size of 2ml but the full size which is 3.5ml retails for £40. I was quite please with this as its not far off from the full size, I have only used this product a couple of times and am yet to see results as i am guessing it is one of those products that you have to use for so long and let it build up before results start to show.By looking at the price I am hoping that its guna be a good product.

So Susan flutter mascara in the colour black and this retails for £14.95.
I've given this mascara a few goes but it just doesn't seem to be wowing me, its a nice formula and is easy to apply but just doesn't seem to be making much of a difference to the appearance of my eyelashes :( but on the plus side it isn't the worst mascara i have ever tried, and i wont be throwing it away :)

So Susan brow powder and this retails for £11.95.
unfortunately I am unable to write a review on this product as when I received this it was all broken and like dust so I am awaiting the arrival of my replacement. I have read a few other positive reviews on this product so I am looking forward to trying it :)

The Teashed Skinny tea and these retail for £3.50.
I received 20 skinny tea tea bags, and these are simply just green tea. Being a huge fan of green tea i am certainly impressed with these! They come in a gorgeous silky pyramid shape tea bag unlike any others i have tried! and they don't have that chemically taste that a lot of them do have. These are now my new faves! :)

I also received a welda body lotion which was a nice surprise! although it expires in march :( but i don't mind as I cannot stand the smell so have passed it on to my mum!

So overall my first impression of love me beauty is great! I'm very happy with this box and hopefully will be purchasing next months!
if you are interested in joining it is £10 per month (plus p&p) to join simply visit

My first memebox!! Superbox #29 burst of colour 2!

My first ever memebox has arrived! So exciting! So far I have ordered 8 boxes and the first one to arrive is the "superbox #29 burst of colour 2" IT IS STILL AVAILABLE! And costs $39.00 which is around £22, and postage is $6.99/£4. If your new to memebox use the code "TRYMEMEBOX" to receive $15 off your first order!
Anyway let's get started! I received 7 FULL SIZED products! Amazing!

The first item I received was  "hope girl tinted cushion lipstick" worth $12/£7 and I received the colour "neon orange".
This is a double ended stick, one end has the lipstick on it, and the other end has a cushion type applicator which allows you to blend the lipstick and allows your to have a "gloss-less" lipstick if you prefer the more matte effect. This is a gorgeous lipstick, glides on smoothly and feels lovely and moisturising. The tint in the lipstick is brill, managed to stay on pretty much all day whilst I was out but did start to fade towards the end of the day. Over all I am very impressed with this product :)

Hope girl wonder magic mascara this is just in the colour black and is worth $22/£13.
This is a volumizing, lengthening and curling mascara. I found this mascara to be great for my eyelashes as I do have quite short lashes so the brush allows it to get close to my roots without me making a mess. The mascara lasted all day and transformed my lashes into longer and thicker lashes. It didn't become clumpy and flakey and overall is a lovely mascara!

Sua Young Mein Sua Young Mineral Essence In Liquid Foundation SPF 33 worth $34/£20.
This i a hypo allergenic liquid mineral foundation with SPF 33 (everyone loves a foundation with SPF!!) when applying this to my face it felt lovely and light, it spreads so easily and jut glides all over your face. It felt moisturising and very light, i would say it is a medium coverage foundation so it doesn't look cakey and does not feel heavy on your face. This gives a lovely natural and soothing effect. I cannot find the shade of the foundation anywhere so I'm guessing it's a one colour for all skin types, but I'm not 100%! But I love this and definitely recommend it :)

Beauty people 10 second auto eye liner pencil, these cost $48/£28 for two!
I received the shades "diamond burgundy" and "diamond natural beauty" which are a dark burgundy and a lovely light pink with a a gold tint. These are literally like permanent markers! They are so easy to apply as they are lovely and creamy so they just glide on. Try dry really quickly and once dry, you do not need to worry about any smudging, they are amazing!! Had the burgundy on alllll day and by the end of the day still looked perfect!! Although it did take a while to remove, but definitely worth it!

Hope Girl 3D powder blush, I got the colour "girly pink" which is a very light pink and is worth $18/£10.50.
This is a powdered blush with a sponge/buffing applicator. You can apply the blush to your face or with the attached applicator. I used a brush as I have never really tried any other way before so thought I would just stick to what I knew! It blends so easily on my face and looks lovely with the natural look. Quite impressed with this product :) (ps I apologise about the stain on the table from where my drink was just before I took the pictures, I've only just realised -.-)

LadyKin close-up decuple fitting powder, this is a one shade for all product and costs $17/£10. The name of this product sounds complicated, but it is simply just a face powder that you apply over your foundation to give a silky, powdery top coat and evens out your skin tone. It comes out like a clear-ish looking powder, so it doesn't add any colour to your face, which is good. It just gives you a flawless look, and keeps your skin moisturised. I found this to be like the ELF high definition but I think I prefer this one now :) certainly will be in my everyday makeup bag :)

The final product I received was the "Y.E.T Catgirl waterproof pen liner in black, this is worth $9/£5. This is just a liquid eyeliner with a pen/felt tip end applicator. This was easy to apply and was smudge proof, with long lasting colour. As with all liquid eyeliner I find them hard to apply as I have a really unsteady hand so that doesn't help, but it glides on nicely and lasted all day so once I finally got it right I was impressed with it, and for the price it's a great product :)

Over all I am sooo impressed with this box! It's literally everything you need for a full face of makeup! They are all very good and impressive products and I definitely got my money's worth! My first meme box was amazing!

Huge UK ELF haul!!

So when I received an email saying they were offering 51% off to celebrate their birthday I couldn't resist! I have never tried elf products before and have read a lot about them, all the reviews and videos I have watched seem to be very possitive and so I thought why not give it a go! So here is what I ordered ...
Huge ELF haul!

Lipstick, £1.95-
These are the classic lipsticks from elf retailing for just £1.95 each. For the price they are amazing! Very moisturising and pigmented, they don't last a brilliant amount of time on the lips but you can't complain for the price! I tried out the shades captivating, fantasy and classy (in order on the picture).

Luscious liquid lipstick, £1.95-
These are simply just a liquid lipstick, they come in a twisty tube with a sponge type applicator on the end where the liquid comes out. They glide smoothly  onto the lips and are quite pigmented. They do feel the tiniest bit sticky but nothing to major, but for the price I am very pleased :) I tried out the shades "bark" and "raspberry" (picture shows raspberry and then bark) and these retail for just £1.95.

Studio matte lip colour, £3.95-
This is a pencil type lip product and I love it! It's a lovely smooth moisturising product that applies amazing on to the lips and is very pigmented! Doesn't last all day but you can simply just re apply when it starts to fade! I got the shade "tea rose" which is a lovely light pink shade, gutted I didn't order a few more shades! For £3.95 I am amazed with it :)

Pluming lip glaze, £1.95-
This is a double application lip gloss, firstly you apply the clear gloss which starts to stimulate your lips, when you first put this on it tastes minty and makes you lips tingle slightly, The clear gloss does feel slightly sticky. If you want to add colour to your lips you apply the tinted gloss onto which adds colour but also adds a bit of moisture and takes away the stickiness. I am actually very impressed with this product, I can definitely see a difference with the "plumping" effect, and for £1.95 what can I say! Love it :) I tried this in the shade "plum pout".

Wet gloss lash and brow clear mascara, £1.95-
This is a double sided tube that contains clear lash mascara and a clear brow mascara. I bought this for my brows and probably won't ever use it on my lashes but so far so good! I applied it on my lashes over the top after using my brow pencil to add colour and they stayed in place all day! Perfect for those little fly aways that get brushed out of place easily, which is basically my whole eyebrows! So this products a miracle for me :) this retails for just £1.95!!

High definition powder, £6.95-
This is a loose powder which is suppose to create a "soft focus" effect on your skin. I found that applying this all over my face gave my skin a softer appearance but minimising my fine lines and any imperfections I have. It's not the most amazing product as a lot of people make it out to be but it's definitely improved the look of my skin slightly. So I think this is a keeper in my makeup bag :) this is available for £6.95 and I tried it in the shade "translucent".

Nail polish, £2.50-
I actually got this nail polish for £1.00! As it was in the "last chance" section, It is still available but I'm not sure for how much longer. I think this is just your average nail varnish, applies nicely, maybe could do with two coats depending on how deep you want the colour and dries reasonably quick :) I chose the shade "party purple" which is a shimmery deep purple, it's a lovely colour  but I think I'm going to save it for the winter months :)

All over colour stick, £1.95-
I bought these as they seemed like a handy little product to have as they can be used for several areas of the face. I got 4 different shades the first two were "golden peach" and "pink lemonade" I got these as I liked the look of the colours and they can be used for both cheek colour and lip colour which I thought was fab! The third one I chose was "spotlight" I got this to use on my cheeks as a nice creamy highlighter. The final one was in "ivory" this one I thought would be handy for an all over the face application or simply just using it as a concealer. All of these colour sticks are very creamy and apply now and smoothly to the skin, the application is so easy and they blend in really well. They are available in lots of colours and retail for £1.95 :) (picture shows pink lemonade, spotlight, golden peach and then ivory)

Bronzer with brush, £2.50-
I got this bronzer as I was looking for an all over ace bronzer that was not shimmery, and when I noticed the shade "truly-bronzed matte" I couldn't resist for £2.50! It's a nice little bronzer but is not overly pigmented so it does take quite a lot to notice the colour on my skin. Not the most amazing bronzer but for the price I can't really complain :)

Complete coverage concealer, £3.95-
As soon as I saw this I had to have it, £4 for 4 different shades of light concealer is amazing. It has a lovely creamy texture that glides on to the skin nicely, it blends in really well and personally I think it has quite a good coverage that is not too thick. It's comes in a little case with a handy little brush to apply with if you don't like to use your fingers. For the price I certainly recommend this product, I bought it in the shade "light".

Lip exfoliator, £3.95-
I finally found one! Been after a good, not so pricey lip exfoliator for so long and I finally found one! It has a gorgeous scent to it which you can taste when you apply it. You apply it in circular motions to your lips, this removes any dry and chapped skin leaving your lips feeling soft and nourished, and it really does work! I use this before applying my lip products to ensure the colour will not crack and my lip will stay smooth  :)

Lip stain, £3.95-
These are a double ended liquid lip product, one end contains a silky matte colour and the other contains a clear gloss. I found that the colour has a nice application when applying it your lips but can feel a little bit sticky, although when you apply the gloss over the top (if you want a glossy look rather than a matte one) then your lips no longer feel sticky they feel smooth and moisturised. They have a decent durability on your lips and the colour lasts a reasonable amount of time. I got these in the colours "mysterious" and "red carpet" and retail for £3.95.

Lip stain, £2.95-
This is a pen stain rather than a liquid "lipgloss" type stain. I prefer these as once they dry you forget your even wearing them and you don't have to worry about them being sticky. These apply nicely to the lips and certainly do stain, this lasted all day and is now one of my fave prouducts, especially for the price! I got this in the shade "berry blush".

Long wear lip liner, £1.95-
I got these as I didn't own a single lip liner and thought I really should give them a go. For the price I would say I am impressed they lasted a good few hours but they began to fade, the application was easy as they just glided on smoothly and blended in really well with my lips/lip colour. I got these in the shades natural blush, bark, bitter and mauve luxe. These are available for £1.95 in various shades :)

Moisturising lip stick, £3.95-
I bought this as any lipstick with the words "moisturising" appeal to me as I suffer with dry lips quite a lot. I chose the shade "wink pink" which is a really natural shade of pink. Te lipstick is very rich and creamy and certainly nourishes and hydrates my lips. It lasts quite a lengthy amount of time but I did have to top up a few times throughout the day :) very pleased with this lipstick for the price!

Tone correcting concealer, £1.95-
This stood out to me as I have a little patch on the side of my face that doesn't blend in very well with my face which was caused from sunburn. So I thought id give this ago to try and even out my skin tone and help it to blend in when I apply my makeup. It covered up the imperfections just slightly, so it helped a little, not the best but not bad for just £2! :) I tried this in the shade "light beige".

Studio stipple brush, £3.95-
This was just an extra I added to my basket just for the fun of it! I've heard lots of good reviews about the elf brushes so thought I would give one a go. This brush feels amazingly soft! It's very good for apply powder and liquid products and it's especially good for adding definition to your face such as the cheek bones or highlighting.

Sooo... Overall I would say my first elf experience was a huge success! Love the products and for the price.. Amazing! Certainly will be going back to them! :)
